Bred and exhibited purebred dogs in conformation and obedience, with multiple Champions and obedience-titled dogs; have also participated in canine drug detection and personal protection training.

Personally and primarily responsible for the American Kennel Club recognition of the Finnish Spitz breed.

Professional Member: Dog Writers Association of America; published in The American Kennel Club GAZETTE, DOG FANCY, THE NATIONAL OBSERVER, GOLDEN AGES MAGAZINE.
